Iran-Israel War: Amid the escalating crisis in the Middle East, authorities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have issued a firm warning that anyone caught filming incident sites, restricted zones, or airport interiors without the necessary permissions will face stringent legal action.

On Sunday, the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi urged all Indian nationals to fully comply with these regulations. This step is being taken to ensure their safety and to prevent any potential legal issues. The Embassy stated, "When you hear a warning alert, proceed immediately to a safe place and remain there until the warning has been lifted for your area. Do not attempt to go outside to take photographs or record videos."

Indians have been cautioned against sharing or posting images of incident locations, including those depicting damage caused by projectiles or shrapnel, on any digital or social media platforms.

The Embassy further emphasised, "In the event of shrapnel falling or discovering suspicious objects in your vicinity, report it immediately to the competent authorities so they can handle the situation safely and swiftly. Please stay away from the location and do not approach or touch any parts."

For those heading to airports, the Embassy advised against photographing or recording videos within the airport, whether arriving or departing. Due to the current regional instability, the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi has strongly recommended that all Indian nationals residing in or visiting the UAE adhere strictly to local laws and the safety guidelines provided by UAE authorities.

In a separate development, the UAE Ministry of Defence reported on Sunday that its air defence systems had been activated to counter incoming missile and drone threats from Iran.

The Ministry clarified in a post on the social media platform X that the sounds heard in various areas were a result of the air defence systems intercepting missiles and drones. Authorities have urged the public to stay in secure locations and follow updates from official channels as the situation progresses.
