Gaza Miracle Baby: A pregnant mother, who survived day-long Israeli missile strikes in war-torn Gaza, delivered a miracle baby even after dying from grave injuries in a hospital. The hard-to-believe incident took place in Al-Awda Hospital located in the world's most chaotic place - Palestine's Gaza Strip. The mother Ola Adnan Harb al-Kurd arrived at the hospital 'barely alive' after surviving a horrific night of Israeli missile strikes at Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Adnan's relative brought her to the hospital in serious condition with several injuries. Despite the best efforts of the doctors at the Al Awda Hospital, Adnan succumbed to the wounds, leaving the hospital staff and relatives seething with pain and suffering.
However, as soon as an ultrasound was performed on her, the unborn baby's heartbeat was detected. Following this, the doctors got back to work and performed an emergency C-section surgery to let the child into the world.

According to Raed al-Saudi, head of the hospital's obstetrics and gynaecology department, the infant, which was initially critical, was revived by providing oxygen and other critical emergency treatments.
According to a WION report, the baby was placed into an incubator and later shifted to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah. The mother was reportedly among the six casualties in Israel's night-long missile attacks on the camp. Kurd's husband was also seriously wounded in the strike.
This was the second such incident in Gaza after the brutal Hamas-Israel war broke out in October 2023. In April 2024, a similar incident unfolded at another Gaza hospital where a baby Sabreen al-Sakani was born similarly.
