Amid the ongoing crisis in Lebanon, Israel's army chief General Harzi Halevi has said that air strikes will continue to destroy Hezbollah's bases, and if needed, they will also cross the border and take ground action.

US President Joe Biden has also said that war could break out in Lebanon. Amid the escalation of the war, Turkey has announced to stand with Lebanon in the crisis. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, India has asked its citizens present in Lebanon to immediately leave from there. Meanwhile, at least 51 people have been killed and 223 injured in Lebanon in the latest Israeli air strikes on Wednesday.

Hezbollah Missile Reaches Tel Aviv

On Wednesday, Hezbollah's missile reached Tel Aviv in Israel, about 600 kilometers away. Hezbollah has claimed to have targeted the headquarters of the intelligence agency Mossad there, but Israel has denied attacking the agency building. On Wednesday, Hezbollah also attacked northern Israel and Haifa with 300 rockets, drones and missiles.

The Israeli defense system has foiled most of the attacks and no casualties have been reported. The death toll in Monday's Israeli attack has risen to 569 and 1,835 injured. Last week, there were also incidents of explosions in pagers and radio sets in Lebanon, in which about 3,500 people were injured. At present, Lebanon's hospitals are full of injured, in such a situation, further fighting will become more difficult for Lebanon.

Claimed Drone Attack On Israeli Targets

Meanwhile, the displacement of Lebanese citizens from areas near the Israeli border continues. So far, more than five lakh people have left their homes and taken refuge in safe areas. Meanwhile, Iraq's armed organization Islamic Resistance has claimed drone attacks on Israeli bases located on the Golan Heights.

US, France Call For 21-Day Ceasefire Across Israel-Lebanon Border

The United States, France and some of their allies called for an immediate 21-day ceasefire across the Israel-Lebanon border while also expressing support for a ceasefire in Gaza, according to a joint statement of the countries released by the White House late on Wednesday.
