India Was On Osama Bin Laden’s Target List Before 9/11 Attacks: CIA Makes Shocking Revelations

In a major revelation, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) disclosed that terrorist Osama bin Laden had planned to attack India. Nearly 25 years after the deadly 9/11 attacks, the CIA revealed it has declassified at least 70 secret documents related to the case.

As per the statement, the CIA derived an intelligence memo titled "Bin Laden's Terrorist Network Remains a Threat". The intelligence agency revealed that Laden had been planning to attack several countries. The document claims that Laden planned to attack countries, including Pakistan, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Uganda, and Nigeria. However, the document does not mention any specific targets, attack dates, or concrete operational plans regarding India, and the source of this information has been kept secret.

Planned Further Attacks On US 

Bin Laden was planning new attacks on the US and the UK even hours before the US missile strikes in Afghanistan, the memo said. The intelligence report also warned that bin Laden could carry out attacks through his network and affiliate groups in at least 60 countries around the world.

The intelligence report further revealed that the CIA had warned the then presidents of the US, George W Bush and Bill Clinton, about possible attacks. According to the CIA, the revelations have been made to ensure transparency linked to the terrorist Osama Bin Laden.

The 9/11 attacks were a series of coordinated suicide terrorist attacks carried out by the extremist group al-Qaeda against the United States on September 11, 2001. On Tuesday 11 September 2001, hijackers seized US passenger jets and crashed them into two New York skyscrapers, killing thousands of people.

At least 19 al-Qaeda operatives hijacked four airliners. Two of the jets collided into the World Trade Centre's Twin Towers, causing a complete collapse of the iconic skyscrapers.

A third jet hit the Pentagon, while the fourth one, believed to have been targeting the White House or Congress, crashed into a Pennsylvania field after passengers fought back.
