A woman flying on an American Airlines flight bound for Tampa was removed from the aircraft after she played loud videos on her phone. She reportedly kept ignoring warnings from crew members, and engaged in a heated exchange with them.
The video has surfaced online and is widely circulated. According to the man, who shared the footage, the incident escalated after the lady started playing videos on loudspeaker from her phone, even before the plane left the gate.
A fellow passenger claimed that she was "drunk" and refused to use headphones. She was politely requested to wear headphones by a crew member; however, the lady immediately got angry, rude and belligerent toward the staff. She is said to have used foul language against flight attendants before daring them to call the cops.
Video Goes Viral, Here's What Happened
The woman was eventually kicked off the plane after she ignored multiple requests. The video shows her arguing with the cops, where she claimed that she stopped playing the clip after the "second warning." She is heard saying: “I played a video for 30 f*king seconds at 50 per cent sound, and that’s the f*king reason you’re kicking me off?”
She even engaged in argument with one cop, questioning, “Listen. Is this not a free speech America or are we being a**holes to literally everybody?". The cop responded by pointing to the front of the plane and said that she could express herself over there.

The video has triggered mixed reactions on the internet. While some users extended their support, others condemned her behaviour. A user wrote, "Airplanes are already stressful environments for a lot of people. Loud videos playing from someone’s phone only makes it worse for everyone around them. The flight attendants asked politely, she refused, and they handled it professionally. Rules like this exist for a reason."
Another user commented, "I’m not condoning what she did. Maybe if you dig a little deeper, you might realize she’s probably struggling with depression or something heavier."
