Earlier on Wednesday morning, when US election results showed Donald Trump's victory, PM Modi was one of the first to congratulate him. On X, Modi wrote, "Heartiest congratulations my friend @realDonaldTrump on your historic election victory. I look forward to renewing our collaboration to strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership and work together for global peace, stability, and prosperity."
