United States President Donald Trump is seemingly on a spree to impose tariffs on almost everything, as he announced on Monday his intention to charge a 100 per cent tariff on all movies that are made outside the country.

Along with it, he also intends to put a 'substantial tariff' on countries that do not make their furniture in the US. He made these announcements in back-to-back posts at Truth Social.

In his first post, he said that US's movie making business was had been stolen like a 'candy from a baby'. "Our movie making business has been stolen from the United States of America, by other Countries, just like stealing candy from a baby.”

Lashing out at the California Governor, Trump added, "California with its weak and incompetent Governor, has been particularly hard hit! Therefore, in order to solve this long time, never ending problem, I will be imposing a 100% Tariff on any and all movies that are made outside of the United States. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" Trump added.
