US-Iran War: Pakistan on Wednesday delivered a proposal from the United States to Iran, and either Pakistan or Turkey could serve as venues for discussions to de-escalate the conflict in the Gulf, Reuters reported, citing a senior Iranian official.
15-Point Ceasefire Plan
According to Associated Press, citing two Pakistani officials, Iran has received a 15-point proposal from the United States to arrive at a ceasefire in the ongoing conflict.

The 15-point proposal covers sanctions relief, civilian nuclear cooperation, a rollback of Iran's nuclear programme, oversight by the International Atomic Energy Agency, limits on missile capabilities, and ensuring shipping access through the Strait of Hormuz.
Pakistan Or Turkey To Host US-Iran Talks
According to Reuters, both Pakistan and Turkey are under consideration as venues for talks to de-escalate the conflict in the Gulf, as both countries are actively facilitating communication and exploring diplomatic solutions.
Turkey, in particular, has been involved in backchannel efforts to ease tensions. Harun Armagan, vice chair of foreign affairs for the ruling party of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said Ankara has been relaying messages between Tehran and Washington to encourage de-escalation and pave the way for direct negotiations.
However, he did not disclose the content of the messages but said they were also being conveyed to Gulf nations, which have been caught up in the widening regional conflict following the US-Israeli coordinated strikes on Iran that killed Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
'Do Not Call Your Defeat An Agreement': Iran
Meanwhile, Iran has maintained that it is not currently engaged in negotiations with the administration of President Donald Trump.
"You have reached a stage where you are negotiating with yourselves," a spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters said.
The spokesperson also warned US officials against portraying any outcome as a diplomatic success, adding, “Do not call your defeat an agreement.”
