Israel, which is at war with Hamas and Hezbollah, has intensified its attacks. The Israeli Navy has carried out a major attack in Syria. Reportedly, Israel targeted a weapons depot with about 30 missiles. A video of the incident is also going viral online. Israel says that Iran was trying to send these weapons to Hezbollah via Syria.
Several reports are claiming that Israel has targeted Russia's airbase. However, it's not true. Israel has not targeted Russia's airbase but its weapons depot located near the airbase. It is alleged that Iran's weapons were kept in the Russian weapons depot. Israel destroyed these weapons before they could reach the terrorist organisations.
Russia has a Khmeimim airbase in Syria's Latakia. Israel has created havoc near this airbase. According to The Telegraph report, Israel attacked with 30 missiles. After the attack, explosions kept happening in the arms depot throughout the night.
According to Syrian media, Israel carried out this attack an hour after the Iranian Qassim Fars Airlines cargo plane landed at the base. Israel suspected that a consignment of arms was brought in this plane.

Russia On Alert, Air Force Begins Patrolling
According to Syrian TV, Israel has targeted a weapons depot near Russia's Hmeimim airbase. The Israeli Navy fired 30 missiles from its warship. Russia has also become alert after Israel's attack. The Russian Air Force has started patrolling the skies of Syria. Meanwhile, the video of the Israeli attack has also been shared by Ukrainian officials and media.
Meanwhile, an Israeli strike on Friday near Lebanon's Masnaa border crossing with Syria cut off a road used by hundreds of thousands of people to flee Israeli bombardments in recent days, Lebanon Transport Minister Ali Hamieh told Reuters.
Hamieh said the strike hit inside Lebanese territory near the border crossing, creating a four-metre (12 feet) wide crater. An Israel Defence Forces (IDF) military spokesman had accused Iran-backed Lebanese armed group Hezbollah on Thursday of using the crossing to transport military equipment into Lebanon.
