Kia India has reported that they have received 31,716 reservations for the new Seltos in just one month. On July 14, pre-orders for the new Seltos officially began, and since 2019, Kia has sold more than 5 lakh vehicles. The price range for the 2023 Kia Seltos is now between 10.89 lakh and 19.99 lakh. These are both ex-showroom prices.
Kia Seltos - New Updates
The manufacturer estimates that about 55 per cent of reservations are for higher-end trims (HTX and higher). Pewter Olive, another new colour from Kia, has received close to 19 per cent of bookings so far. The 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine was replaced with a new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine by Kia for 2023. It generates 253 Nm torque and 158 bhp. It has a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT attached to it.

The 1.5-litre diesel and naturally aspirated petrol engines have been kept in their present configurations. Both engines have a maximum power output of about 115 horsepower. The 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission or the 6-speed iMT is paired with the 250 Nm diesel engine. Then there is the turbo-petrol engine, which generates 44 Nm of power and is paired with either an IT automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Kia Seltos - Safety Enhanced
The Advanced Driver Aids System, or ADAS, is the biggest improvement to the Seltos. 17 ADAS technologies, including Front Collision Warning, Driver Attention Warning, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Safe Exit Warning, and High Beam Assist, are now available on the small SUV.

Kia Seltos - Exterior and Interior Design
In addition to this, both the interior and the exterior have been updated. New LED headlamps, taillamps, and daytime running lamps are installed on the Seltos. The bumpers have been upgraded, and the back now has a light bar. The alloys are now shiny black and come in sizes up to 18 inches. A new dashboard style and centre console arrangement have been added to the Seltos' cabin because of the installation of a new automatic climate control system and a new driver's digital display.
