Husqvarna, the Swedish motorcycle manufacturer, has unveiled the upgraded 2024 Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 250 motorcycles. The Indian market is the first to receive both models, with the 2024 Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 priced at Rs 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 at Rs 2.92 lakh (ex-showroom).
While the 250 models were already available in India, the manufacturer has now introduced its 401 range of motorcycles. Both motorcycles are manufactured in India and then exported to global markets.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 - Design
The 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 shares its foundations with the new-generation KTM 390 Duke. In terms of design, the Svartpilen 401 adopts a more powerful look, with subtle updates to the side panels and a new decorative visor. Additionally, it features a side-mounted exhaust, replacing the underbelly unit seen in the older model.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 - Engine Specs
The 2024 Svartpilen 401 shares the same trellis frame and a new rear subframe with the third-gen KTM 390 Duke. It is powered by a new 398.6 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which is capable of delivering a power output of 46 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and features a bi-directional quickshifter. The Svartpilen comes with additional features such as ride-by-wire, Supermoto ABS, traction control, a 5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, Type-C charging, and more.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 - Hardware
For suspension duties, the 2024 Svartpilen 401 is equipped with adjustable USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. The braking responsibilities are taken care of by 320 mm front and 240 mm rear disc brakes, featuring dual-channel ABS as a standard safety measure.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 - Rivals
Talking about competition, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 faces competition from other models in the segment like Royal Enfield Scram 411 and Yezdi Scrambler. The Svartpilen 401 will be available in all Husqvarna dealerships across the country from the end of this month. It is available with a a 2+3 year warranty and a service interval of 7,500 km.
