Italian luxury supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has announced that it has sold more than 100 cars in India in 2023, hitting a record of 103 units for the year. Globally, Lamborghini had an even better year, selling a total of 10,112 cars worldwide in 2023, which is 10% more than what they sold in 2022. The company sold 103 units in India last year, it added. In 2022, Lamborghini India had sold a record 92 units, growing at 33 per cent from the previous year. Its previous best-ever sales in the country were in 2021 at 69 units. Before that, its best sales were in 2019 when it sold a total of 52 units. The company, which marked its 60th anniversary of foundation in 2023, said for the first time, it delivered more than 10,000 cars in a single year.

Lamborghini Revuelto In India
In addition to this, Lamborghini recently launched their flagship supercar, the Revuelto in India. The Lamborghini Revuelto has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 8.9 crore (ex-showroom). The Revuelto has been launched as a successor to the Lamborghini Aventador. Moreover, even after this whopping price tag, the Revuelto has already been sold out in the country till 2026.
Lamborghini Revuelto - Power and Performance
Talking about the performance of the Revuelto, it is Lamborghini’s first-ever hybrid supercar that is equipped with a powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine and three electric motors, along with a small battery pack as well. The Italian supercar manufacturer claims that the V12 engine equipped in the Revuelto is not only its most powerful but also its lightest engine ever used. It delivers an impressive power output of 825 bhp and 725 Nm of peak torque. The V12 engine is connected with three electric motors - two situated at the front and one positioned above the gearbox. The powertrain setup helps in producing a combined power output of 1,015 bhp and 807 Nm of torque. With the assistance of the three electric motors, the Revuelto effectively achieves an all-wheel drive capability. Lamborghini Revuelto boasts an impressive top speed of 350 km/h and it can achieve the 0-100 km/h mark in a mere 2.5 seconds.
