The new M5 is equipped with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with an electric motor, similar to the BMW XM. The car is electronically limited to a top speed of 250 km/h, but with the optional M Driver’s package, it can reach 305 km/h. The M5 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, slightly slower than the previous generation.
