BMW 5 Series LWB
For the first time in India, BMW is launching the 5 Series LWB, aiming to compete directly with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB. With dimensions of 5,175mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,520mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,105mm, it stands out as the largest car in its segment. Initially, the new 5 Series will be available in the 530Li M Sport variant, though specific details and specifications are yet to be disclosed. It is expected to be priced higher than the current 6 Series GT, which ranges from Rs 73.5 lakh to Rs 78.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
MINI Cooper S
MINI is set to launch the new-generation Cooper S hatchback in its ICE variant, followed by the all-electric SE version later this year. The new Cooper S retains Mini’s classic design elements, featuring circular headlights, a larger octagonal front grille and triangular tail-lamps. Inside, it features a 9.4-inch circular OLED infotainment screen. The new Cooper S is powered by an upgraded 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, delivering a power output of 204 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The outgoing Cooper S is priced at Rs 42.70 lakh (ex-showroom) and the new model is expected to be slightly more expensive.

MINI Countryman Electric
The new-generation Countryman Electric shares its platform with the BMW iX1. The design aligns with the new Cooper S and the interiors are similarly styled. Internationally, the Countryman Electric is offered in two powertrain options - a single-motor, front-wheel-drive version with 204 bhp and 250 Nm and a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive version with 313 bhp and 494 Nm. Both variants are powered by a 66.45 kWh battery, offering ranges of 462 km for the single-motor and 433 km for the dual-motor versions. It's not yet clear which versions will be available in India. The current petrol Mini Countryman is available in India at a price of Rs 48.10 lakh (ex-showroom) and the new electric version is expected to have a higher price tag.
