Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition: Maruti Suzuki launched the Fronx SUV in the Indian market on 24 April, 2023 and it has gained immense popularity in the Indian market since then. Building on this success, Maruti Suzuki recently launched a special edition of the SUV, called the Fronx Velocity Edition. The Fronx Velocity Edition offers a fresh and sporty look for the SUV, with aesthetic upgrades that make it stand out. Despite the new features, the reliable performance of the Fronx remains unchanged. Let’s take a look at key things to know about this new edition of the Fronx SUV.

Fronx Velocity Edition - Engine Specs 

The Fronx Velocity Edition does not feature any mechanical changes. It still comes with two engine options - a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The 1.2-litre engine delivers a power output of 88 bhp and 113 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT. The 1.0-litre turbo engine produces a power output of 99 bhp and 148 Nm of torque, available with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Fronx Velocity Edition Sigma 1.2-Litre 

The Sigma variant of the Fronx Velocity Edition features black and red garnishes on the front bumper, headlamp, and wheel arch, along with a front grille garnish.

Fronx Velocity Edition Delta, Delta+ and Delta+ (O) 1.2-Litre

In addition to the features found in the Sigma variant, the Delta trims include red inserts on the body side moulding and rear bumper. Other enhancements include an illuminated door sill guard, red dash designer mat, black and red spoiler extender, door visors, ORVM covers with a red dash finish, and back door garnishes.

Fronx Velocity Edition Delta+, Alpha and Zeta 1.0-Litre

The 1.0L Booster Jet engine variants—Delta+, Alpha, and Zeta—come with all the same upgrades as the 1.2L Delta range. Additionally, the interior receives a few enhancements such as NexCross Bordeaux seat covers, an interior styling kit with a carbon fibre finish and a 3D boot mat.
