Car Driving Tips: The automotive industry has rapidly been bringing advancements in features and technology available in modern age vehicles. Cars are now equipped with various technologies aiming at providing better comfort and safety while driving. However, these features are mostly required during long drives because you’re sitting in your car for a long duration. Here’s a list of features that you should know about while going for a long road trip that will make your journey more enjoyable and comfortable.
Cooling Seats - Most cars available in the Indian market now come with the feature of cooling seats that help in maintaining the ventilation by cooling the seats for better comfort for the front-row passengers.
Cruise Control - Cruise control is another feature that is optionally being offered in almost every other vehicle in the market. It obviously comes at a premium price tag but it helps in long drives as it prevents you from feeling tired by driving continuously. However, it should only be used on highways as it remains at a constant speed by automatically accelerating the vehicle.
Massaging Seats - Another notable feature is massaging seats which is only available in premium cars. Massaging seats are mostly available for the driver to make long journeys bearable and help in reducing fatigue.
Automatic Climate Control - Automatic climate control is another valuable feature that helps in enhancing comfort during long journeys as it automatically changes the temperature of the air conditioning as per the weather conditions outside your car.
Traction Control - While all the above mentioned features provide enhanced comfort, there are some features now available in cars that are included for better safety during long drives. One of these features is traction control that works in the background to help accelerate and prevent slipping of the wheel on slippery surfaces like ice or while accelerating up a hill or driving during rainy weather.
Hill Assist - Hill assist is another safety feature now available in cars that helps in preventing rolling back of cars when driving up on a hill after a halt.
