Dominos, a globally renowned American multinational pizza restaurant chain, has recently announced that it will be bringing a new range of electric bikes that will be used for delivering pizza from their outlets. The Dominos electric bike will obviously be equipped with a battery pack but they will also feature a fan-forced built-in oven that will help in keeping the dishers warm.
Domino's is stepping up its delivery game with the introduction of this new e-bike called the dxb. Dominos claims that this new e-bike for food delivery will be a total gamechanger, especially in busy cities where traffic can slow down food deliveries. The dxb is designed for speed with 20-inch street tires and has a fancy downtube-integrated battery. The most interesting feature is the built-in-oven which is mounted on the wide rear-wheel stand. Marika Stegmeijer, Domino's Group Chief Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Officer said, “Our new e-bike concept is a testament to our dedication to delivering not only great-tasting pizzas, but also making a positive difference for our people, customers, food, communities and, of course, our environment.”
Dominos has not announced when they will officially roll out the dxb for deliveries. However, Dominos in a press release said, “Stabilised by space-age suspension that cuts g-forces by an incredible 67 percent, the chance of turbulence for your pizza is zero - arriving at your door exactly as it was lovingly hand-made in store.”

Dominos is a known fast food chain across the globe but the dxb won’t be introduced in all of its global markets. Dominos being an American restaurant chain will not deploy the dxb even in the US. Dominos will be introducing the dxb exclusively in DPE markets that includes nations like Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Japan, Germany, Luxembourg, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia.
