Ducati Panigale V2 New Black Colour: Ducati India has introduced the Panigale V2 in a striking black shade. It has been launched at a price tag of Rs 20.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for this new colour variant of the Ducati Panigale V2 began in April and deliveries are expected to start soon. The Ducati Panigale V2 is imported to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), competes directly with the similarly priced BMW S 1000 RR and is more expensive than the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.

Previously, the Panigale V2 was available only in the 'Ducati Red' paint scheme. The new black option enhances the attractive look of the bike, at a premium of Rs 30,000 over the previous version.
Ducati Panigale V2 - Design
In terms of design, the Panigale V2 Black maintains the same design language as the flagship Panigale V4. It features twin headlamps and signature LED DRLs. The bike's compact proportions make it highly agile and perfect for cornering. The glossy black paint is contrasted by red highlights across the bodywork and the black alloy wheels feature a red pinstripe on the rims, enhancing its sharp appearance.
Ducati Panigale V2 - Features
In terms of features, the Panigale V2 is packed with electronic features such as a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console, multiple riding and power modes, cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control (EBC), a bi-directional quickshifter and automatic tyre calibration. Additionally, it comes with full LED lighting, a Sachs steering damper, and auto-off indicators. Optional extras include the Ducati Data Analyser+ (DDA+) with a GPS module, the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), and an anti-theft system.
Ducati Panigale V2 - Engine Specs
In terms of engine specs, the Ducati Panigale V2 is powered by a 955 cc, L-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces a power output of 155 bhp and 104 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and is built on an aluminium monocoque frame with a single-sided aluminium swingarm.

Ducati Panigale V2 - Hardware
In terms of hardware, the suspension system includes fully adjustable 43 mm Showa USD front forks and a Sachs monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by 320 mm twin front discs with Brembo Monoblock M 4.32 callipers and a single 245 mm rear disc with two-piston callipers. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tyres.
