Jeep India has reduced the price of the base variant of the Compass SUV by Rs 1.7 lakh, making it more affordable. However, all other variants have seen a price increase of Rs 14,000 each. With the price cut, the base variant of the Compass now costs Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom), down from Rs 20.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices for the Longitude and Limited (O) 4X4 variants haven't been updated on the official website.

After the price adjustments, the Compass now starts at Rs 18.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 32.41 lakh for the top variant. It competes with other SUVs in the segment like the Hyundai Tucson, Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus and more.
Jeep Compass - Features
The top-spec variant of the Jeep Compass includes a range of premium features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, ventilated front seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, wireless phone charging, cruise control, dual-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof. In terms of safety, the Compass is equipped with up to six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and hill start assist.
Jeep Compass - Engine Specs
The Jeep Compass is powered by a single 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces a power output of 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. It offers two transmission options - a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic. The SUV is available in both front-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations, though the all-wheel-drive is only available with the 9-speed automatic transmission.
