Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition: Czech automaker Skoda has expanded the Kushaq lineup in India. Skoda India has launched an automatic version of the Onyx edition, which was introduced last year. It was initially available only with a manual transmission. The Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition now offers an automatic option, bringing in features from higher variants along with unique styling touches.

Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition - Price
The Onyx edition is positioned between the base Active and mid-level Ambition trims of the Kushaq, with a starting price of Rs 12.89 lakh. The new automatic variant costs Rs 60,000 more. This results in the Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition AMT variant to be priced at Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition - Design
In terms of design, the Onyx automatic edition features ‘Onyx’ badging on the B-pillars and 16-inch steel wheels with covers. Notably, the decals on the doors from the manual version have been removed. It also gets LED headlights with DRLs, cornering front fog lamps, rear wiper and defogger.
Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition - Interior & Features
In terms of interior, it includes ‘Onyx’ branding on the scuff plates, premium mats with Onyx inscription and Onyx-themed cushions. Talking about features in the Onyx automatic edition, it includes automatic climate control with rear AC vents, 6 airbags, hill hold control, 2-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel and paddle shifters. Additional features are a height-adjustable driver seat, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6-speaker sound system, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition - Powertrain
The Kushaq Onyx automatic variant is powered by a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is also available with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine variant, which is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
