Hero MotoCorp, an Indian two-wheeler brand has showcased their multiple products at the ongoing EICMA 2023. These offerings include the Xoom 160, Xoom 125R and the Vida V1 Pro electric scooter. 

Xoom 160

The Xoom 160 is equipped with a liquid-cooled, 156cc, single-cylinder engine that generates a power output of 14 bhp and 13.7 Nm of torque. The Xoom 160 boasts advanced features like i3s stop-start technology, keyless ignition, fully digital dashboard, two split LED headlights and a silent starter. It weighs a total of 141 kg and is supported with a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers while sitting on 14-inch wheels.

Xoom 125R

The Xoom 125R sources its power from an air-cooled, 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine that can produce a power output of 9.5 bhp and 10.14 Nm of peak torque. Features equipped in the Xoom 125R is a fully digital dashboard, bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and sequential LED indicators.  

Vida V1 Pro

Hero has also showcased an electric scooter which is the Vida V1 Pro. The Vida V1 Pro gets cosmetic changes giving it a ‘coupe’ like design with no rear seat, however, the powertrain specs of the Vida V1 Pro remain the same as the existing Vida V1 e-scooter. 

Lynx e-dirtbike and Acro e-bicycle 

Hero has also showcased a Lynx e-dirtbike concept under its Vida brand. The Lynx e-dirtbike concept weighs a total of 82 kg and is equipped with a 3kWh battery pack. The powertrain equipped in this concept can generate a power output of 20.4 bhp. Additionally, the Indian manufacturer has also revealed an Acro electric bicycle for children.

Hero MotoCorp Future Plans 

Hero MotoCorp has revealed plans to introduce its Vida subsidiary in Europe and the UK. Vida will be launched in three countries currently that include the United Kingdom, Spain and France. Hero will start commercial operations in these three countries by the middle of 2024, with plans to further expand the brand by launching its premium offerings.
