EV Sales October 2025: Bengaluru-based Simple Energy – which presently retails the One Gen 1.5 and the OneS in India – has crossed the 1,000-unit EV (Electric Vehicle) sales milestone. As per the VAHAN portal, the electric two-wheeler manufacturer sold 1,050 units in October 2025 (including 76 in Telangana), the best-ever monthly performance to date.

Seven months into the current financial year, Simple Energy has already surpassed last year's revenue by over 125 per cent, and crossing the 1,000-unit sales mark reflects the strong trust customers have placed in the EV company, according to Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO of Simple Energy.

Simple Energy Expansion Plans

To meet the increasing demand, Simple Energy has ramped up production capacity by 40 per cent at its 2 lakh sq. ft/ Hosur manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu. It has also expanded its marketing team to more than 40 professionals, supporting its aggressive plan to establish 150 retail stores and service centres by March 2026. The brand currently operates 61 touchpoints across major Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Goa, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Agra, and Jaipur, with plans to enter Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar in the coming months.

Interestingly, the company holds the distinction of being the first Indian OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to commercially produce heavy, rare-earth-free motors, a significant step toward reducing dependence on direct imports from China.
