Renowned two-wheeler makers including TVS have also introduced E-scooters in the market while several new startups have started manufacturing electric scooters. While the rates for electric scooters are quite high, some still are affordable to the common man. Godavari Eblu Fio

A new electric scooter has been released into the market by Godavari Electric Motors. This scooter is priced at Rs 99,999 and features a 2.52 kWh battery, producing 110 Nm of torque. It offers three riding modes; economy, normal and power. It has a 110 km range on a single charge and its top speed is 60 km/h.

Ola S1 X

Ola Electric has introduced the S1 X which is offered in three different variants, the S1 X, S1X 2 KW, and S1 X Plus. It is capable of travelling 90 kilometres and reaching a top speed of 85 km/h in the 2KW variant and the S1 X Plus variant offers a range of 125 kilometres with a top speed of 90km/h. This scooter is available for Rs. 89,999 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ampere Zeal EX

The Ampere Zeal EX is priced at Rs 96,000 and has a potential range of 120 kilometres. It is equipped with a 2.3 kWh battery and it is fully charged within five hours. Incorporated with a 1.8 kW motor, it claims a top speed of 50-55 km/h.
