KTM has introduced its new Duke lineup with the KTM 390 getting the most significant upgrades. The new KTM 390 Duke has an engine capacity of 398cc which produces 44.8 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. The bore and stroke measurements are 89mm and 64mm, which are the same as the Triumph Speed 400.

KTM 390 Duke: Change In Design 

With a new engine to power the bike, the 390 Duke is built on a new steel trellis frame and a die-cast aluminium sub-frame. The changes to the external structure include an all-new curved aluminium swingarm, which gets an offset-mounted monoshock which will make more space for the larger airbox and the catalytic converter.

The 390 Duke includes a LED DRL "eyebrow" encircling the LED headlamp and for the first time since the release of the BS4 model in 2017, the return of the 390 Duke's underbelly exhaust has been announced

KTM 390 Duke: New Riding Modes

It features three riding modes: Rain, Street, and Track, and each mode improves the power delivery in a different way. The newly launched Duke 390 has an interesting feature called Launch Control, which is exclusively available in Track mode. By pushing the revs to 7,000rpm, you can launch the bike as quickly as you want. Once the bike's prices are revealed, we anticipate the 390 Duke to be the most affordable bike to include this technology.

KTM 390 Duke: Technological Advancements

The 390 Duke has a brand-new 5-inch colour TFT dash, bluetooth connectivity, allowing the rider to control music playback, access turn-by-turn navigation and take calls via the KTM app. To facilitate all of these features, a new switchgear has been provided with controls on the left hand switch cube.

KTM 390 Duke: Prices

Currently, the 390 Duke is priced at Rs 2,97,475, but considering the number of significant upgrades that the bike will feature, it's fair to expect the prices to hike. It will most probably be launched in the Indian market in the next few months.
