Hero Mavrick 440 vs Royal Enfield Classic 350: Hero MotoCorp recently revealed the Mavrick 440 for the Indian market, with bookings set to begin in February 2024. The price will be announced in April 2024 along with the expected commencement of deliveries. The Hero Mavrick 440 is derived from the Harley-Davidson X440. Upon its official launch, the Mavrick 440 will enter the competitive 400 cc motorcycle segment in India and will contend with rivals such as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and Honda H’ness CB350. Here’s a look at the comparison of the Hero Mavrick 440 with the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Hero Mavrick 440
Price - Exact price details about the Mavrick 440 have not yet been disclosed, though, the industry expectations suggest a competitive price point of around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine Specs - In terms of engine specs, the Hero Mavrick 440 is fitted with a 440cc long-stroke oil-cooled engine that generates a power output of 27 bhp and 36 Nm of peak torque.
Hardware - Talking about the hardware, the Mavrick 440 features 43mm front telescopic forks and a 130mm travel at the front. It is also equipped with dual shockers at the rear, disc brakes on both ends and alloy wheels.
Features - In terms of features, the Mavrick 440 incorporates a digital instrument cluster, LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone integration, call and text notifications and a turn-by-turn navigation system.

Royal Enfield Classic 350
Price - The RE Classic 350 is available in India with prices ranging from Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine Specs - Royal Enfield Classic 350 sources its power from a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 349cc engine. This engine is tuned to generate a power output of 20 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. It is also paired to a 5-speed gearbox for transmission duties.
Hardware - Suspension duties are taken care of by a 41mm telescopic fork with 130mm travel at the front and twin shock absorbers with 6-step preload adjustment at the rear. For braking, it features a 300mm front disc brake and a 153mm drum brake in the single-channel ABS version and a 270mm disc in the dual-channel ABS version for the rear wheel.
Features - The Classic 350 gets features such as the next-gen switchgear from the Meteor 350, new semi digital instrument console, an analogue speedometer and a LCD screen.
In conclusion, both the motorcycles are a great buy, however, the Hero Mavrick 440 is a newly launched motorcycle with a slightly more powerful engine. It also gets a slew of new features and is expected to be moderately priced than the Classic 350.
