As per recent reports, it is expected that the manufacturer is also preparing to introduce a diesel-powered Curvv. Tata Curvv - Details

The diesel powertrain variant of the Tata Curvv is expected to be equipped with a 1.5-litre diesel engine. This diesel powered mill produces a power output of 115 bhp and 260 Nm of torque and is expected to be paired to a 6-speed manual transmission or an AMT.  This engine is compliant with BS 6.2 emissions norms, and underwent upgrades last year. Regardless of the general decline and uncertainty surrounding diesel engines, Tata Motors remains committed, recognizing that diesel still constitutes around 24 percent of the midsize SUV segment. By offering the Curvv with diesel, electric and petrol powertrain options, Tata Motors aims to secure a significant market share in the competitive midsize SUV segment.
