The new facelift of the Kia Carnival MPV will be introduced in select international markets. Before its launch, spy shots of the facelifted MPV have surfaced online, revealing significant details about its exterior design, interior and features.

Kia Carnival - Design

The leaked spy shots of the Kia Carnival reveal design modifications in the front fascia of the car that include a redesigned grille and lighting. At the rear end, the Carnival gets new tail light designs and an LED light bar resembling those seen on the Seltos facelift. Additionally, the MPV also gets new alloy wheels, chrome elements are now present on the C-pillar and the rear lip below the trunk. It is also likely that the higher-level variants of the MPV will get a sunroof along with roof-rails as well.

Kia Carnival - Interior and Features

It is expected that the features inside the MPV will undergo a significant expansion, bringing it closer in features to models typically considered as luxury offerings. It is probable that it will get two curved displays for infotainment and instrument cluster along with ADAS safety features as well. Kia Carnival will continue to be available with multiple seating layout options and is anticipated to share the newly designed seats from the Kia EV9.

Kia Carnival - Engine

The previous iteration of the Kia Carnival was available in India with a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that generated a power output of 200 bhp and 440 Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed torque converter transmission. It is likely that Kia India will continue to retain the same engine configuration for the new Carnival.
