Mahindra Thar Roxx New Feature: The Mahindra Thar Roxx is one of the most popular SUVs in India currently, and its waiting period has recently been reduced to 6 months for the base trim. The Brand has recently added a new feature to the SUV, and it is claimed that it will be a first for any vehicle in the world to come equipped with it. The production of the SUV has also been ramped up to address the increasing demand.
Mahindra Thar Roxx: What's New?
Mahindra and Mahindra today announced that a new feature has been added to the Thar Roxx’s top-spec, AX7L trim. The top-of-the-line variant of the SUV will now come equipped with a Harman Kardon Dolby Atmos 4-channel 9-speaker immersive sound system. After it is equipped with this feature, Thar Roxx will become the world’s first SUV to have this feature.
Commenting on this, Karan Grover, Senior Director, Commercial Partnerships - IMEA, Dolby Laboratories, said, “We are excited about the possibilities that our collaboration with Mahindra can bring for customers, especially in India. With Dolby Atmos in Thar ROXX AX7L, we’re taking the car journey to an entirely new level by transforming the interior cabin into a personalised concert hall on wheels, making every ride an immersive audio experience that complements the adventurous spirit of the Thar ROXX AX7L.”

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Waiting Period
Mahindra Thar Roxx is priced between Rs 12.99 lakhs (Ex-showroom) and Rs 22.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom) in India. The flagship Mahindra SUV is available with 3 powertrain options, including a petrol, a turbo-petrol, and a diesel engine on offer. The waiting period for the SUV was soaring to more than a year, but has now reduced to 6 months, for the base variant. You can check the detailed waiting period breakdown in the table below.
