Mahindra XEV 9S Variants: Having launched the BE 6 Formula E Edition SUV a day ago, Mahindra has unveiled its first mass-market 7-seat electric SUV for India, the XEV 9S. Positioned as a premium, space-oriented family EV in the carmaker's all-electric lineup, the Mahindra XEV 9S is priced from Rs 19.95 lakh to Rs 29.45 lakh. The prices are introductory, ex-showroom. Bookings for the model will open on January 14, 2026, and deliveries are scheduled to commence on January 23.
Mahindra XEV 9S: Price
Mahindra offers the newly launched XEV 9S in 3 broad trim levels and 3 battery configurations. The base-spec Pack One Above trim comes with either a 59kWh or 79kWh battery pack. The mid-spec Pack Two Above is also offered with two battery options – 70kWh (new) and 79kWh. Meanwhile, the top-end variants, the Pack Three and the Pack Three Above, are equipped with a single 79kWh battery pack. Here's a close look at the variant-wise prices of the XEV 9S

Mahindra XEV 9S: Range
All three battery packs are available with a rear-axle-mounted motor, which makes a maximum power of 286bhp and peak torque of 380Nm. The XEV 9S delivers a maximum range of 679km, as per ARAI. The table below gives you the variant-wise range outputs:
