Indian carmaker Mahindra has unveiled the Thar.ev and Bolero.ev concept and since then, the automobile giant has been making headlines. Now amid the buzz over its upcoming electric cars, the facelift version of the Mahindra XUV 300 has recently been spotted testing revealing many new details about the car.

All you need to know about XUV300
XUV300 - Exteriors
The front design of the XUV300 is expected to be revamped with features like a new LED headlamp cluster with C-shaped LED DRLs, a dual front grille and a large air duct integrated into the front bumper. Noticing from the spy photos, it is visible that the 2024 XUV300's back resembles the BE concept. The light panel on the upper portion of the tailboard will be connected to the C-shaped LED tail lamps. A faux skid plate will be included both at the front and the rear. The vehicle's licence plate will be mounted on the redesigned rear bumper.
XUV300 - Interiors
The XUV300 facelift will most likely have a new dashboard, a new centre console with new buttons and switches, and a new floating infotainment display, which might also be used in the upcoming 5-door Thar. A 7-inch infotainment system that is integrated into the dashboard is available with the current XUV300. Additional features like new air conditioning vents, an all-digital instrument panel, a wireless phone charger, and ventilated front seats may be included with the XUV300 facelift.
XUV300 - Engine
The two engines available with the current XUV300 are the 1.5-litre diesel and the 1.2-litre turbo petrol which will continue to be used for the XUV300 facelift. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces a total power of 115 bhp and 300 nm. Whereas, the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine has two outputs: 108 bhp/200 Nm and 129 bhp/230 Nm. The current generation XUV300 offers two gearbox choices, a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT. The XUV300 facelift will continue to compete against models like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Brezza, among others.
