Mahindra XUV700 Facelift Update:  The Mahindra XUV700 was introduced in India in 2021, and it has remained a popular SUV ever since. The brand is gearing up to launch several models in the coming years in the country, and the Mahindra XUV700 facelift is also a part of the brand’s plan. The Mahindra XUV700 facelift has already been spied several times on the internet, revealing several exterior and interior details. However, there is a new update regarding the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 facelift.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift To Be Called XUV 7XO?

As per several media reports, the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 facelift might be named the Mahindra XUV 7XO. A recent trademark filing by the brand suggests that the brand might rename the Mahindra XUV700 facelift to the Mahindra XUV 7XO. The brand has previously done this with its XUV300 SUV. The XUV300 was discontinued, and the next-generation model of the SUV was rebadged as the Mahindra XUV 3XO. The same can be the case with the Mahindra XUV700 facelift, and it can be renamed to the Mahindra XUV7XO.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Expected Design

The Mahindra XUV700 facelift has the same silhouette as the outgoing model, and it is expected to share several design elements with the XEV 9E. However, the upcoming XUV700 facelift is expected to get a redesigned grille, a new front bumper, and a dual-pod headlamp setup at the front. On the side, it is expected to get a new set of alloy wheels. The rear end is expected to get tweaked taillights and a reengineered bumper.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Expected Features

The Mahindra XUV700 was introduced with several advanced features, and the same can be the case with the upcoming XUV700 facelift. The Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to get a triple-screen setup inside the cabin, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated infinity logo, an auto-dimming IRVM, powered and ventilated seats, a Level 2 ADAS suite, and more.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Expected Powertrain

While the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to come equipped with several changes in terms of design and features, it will likely remain unchanged in terms of engine. The XUV700 facelift is expected to get the same engine options of either a 2.0-litre turbo petrol or a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. Both of these engines can be paired with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
