Maruti Suzuki E Vitara Vs Mahindra BE 6:  The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara was recently unveiled in the country, and it is set to be launched in January 2026. Post-launch, the first-ever electric car from the largest car manufacturer in the country will rival the likes of the Mahindra BE 6 and Tata Curvv EV. The E Vitara by Maruti Suzuki has also scored a 5-star safety rating in a crash test organised by the Bharat NCAP (BNCAP). The Mahindra BE 6 also has a 5-star safety rating from BNCAP. Here we have compared the crash test results and safety equipment of both of these cars.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara Vs Mahindra BE 6: BNCAP Ratings

As informed earlier, the Maruti Suzuki E Vitara, along with the Mahindra BE 6, have a 5-star safety rating from BNCAP. However, both of these SUVs have performed differently in their respective crash tests. The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara scored 31.49 points out of a total of 32 points in terms of Adult Occupant Safety (AOS). Whereas the AOS score of the Mahindra BE 6 stands at 31.97 out of a total of 32 points. In terms of Child Occupant Protection (COP), the Maruti Suzuki E Vitara has a score of 43 out of a total of 49. The Mahindra BE 6, on the other hand, has a score of 45 out of a total of 49.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara Vs Mahindra BE 6: Safety Equipment

The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara, along with the Mahindra BE 6, comes equipped with several advanced features to enhance occupants' safety. Both of these electric SUVs share safety equipment such as ABS with EBD (electronic brake force distribution), an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), 7-airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function, hill hold assist, a level-2 ADAS suite, and a tyre-pressure monitoring system. However, there are some differences between the electric SUVs. The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara offers 7 airbags as standard, whereas the BE 6 offers them exclusively with the top-spec trims. The Mahindra BE 6 also enhances occupant safety by featuring a Driver Drowsiness Monitoring System inside the cabin.
