Maserati MC Pura Cielo: Following its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (FoS) in July, the Maserati MCPura (MC in the name stands for Maserati Corse) has now been launched in India. A successor to the MC20 supercar, the Maserati MCPura is offered in both coupe and convertible (Cielo) versions, priced at Rs 4.12 crore and Rs 5.12 crore, respectively. The prices are ex-showroom. At its price, the MCPura Cielo is Rs 19 lakh less expensive than the MC20 Cielo, launched in May 2025 at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.31 crore.

Maserati MCPura: Engine

Under the hood, both the coupe and convertible models get a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo 'Nettuno' V6 engine, which is tuned to develop 621bhp at 7,500rpm and 720Nm of torque at 3,000-5,500rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The MCPura also comes with an F1-derived pre-chamber combustion system with twin spark plugs.

According to Maserati, the MCPura and the Cielo can accelerate from a halt to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The top speed for both versions is the same, over 320km/h.

Maserati MCPura: Aero-Focused Design

In partnership with Italy's race car manufacturer Dallara, Maserati has refined the aerodynamics for improved efficiency. While retaining the silhouette of the MC20, the MCPura features a redesigned grille, a new splitter, enlarged air intakes positioned beneath the headlamps, and revised bumpers (front and rear). Other highlights include a carbon fibre monocoque chassis, butterfly wing doors, a PDLC glass roof (for convertible only), and a 'Trident' logo (on the grille and C-Pillar). The logo, along with insignias on either side of the car, is finished in magenta, with blue mica accents.
