According to reports, confidential images of the next Ola Electric e-scooters, which are scheduled to be unveiled on August 15, were leaked. As a result, CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has demanded an apology from the media source who published the images.
Ola CEO Demands Apology
Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO, expressed his fury and claimed that the incident also harmed the credibility of journalists. “ Content from this event was supposed to be embargoed and confidential. These images were part of an auto media event we held today. When auto media secretly takes pictures at a confidential event, they break the trust the brand places in them and do their credibility a huge disservice,” he said.

Aggarwal continued by saying that such conduct is unacceptable, “Unless it is clear who did this and an apology (which is unlikely), we will not have auto journalists being showcased our products before launch going forward. Such instances can’t have any place in a mature ecosystem. We work really hard to make great products and entertaining events for our customers and delight them. Such instances can’t have any place in a mature ecosystem.”
In the future, the electric vehicle manufacturer might not show off its products to journalists before the official debut, according to Aggarwal. Information from the company's Monday automobile media event, which included the photographs that are probably of the Ola SIX e-scooter, was intended to be under embargo and private, according to Aggarwal.
