Ola S1 Air vs Ola S1X: Ola Electric, a leading electric two wheeler manufacturer in India retails a range of electric scooters in the country. Ola’s S1 range of e-scooters include multiple models such as the Ola S1 Air, Ola S1X with 2 kWh/3 kWh battery pack options, Ola S1X+ with 3 kWh battery pack, Ola S1X with 4 kWh battery pack and Ola S1 Pro. Ola updated its range of e-scooters recently in August 2023 and the Ola S1X with 4 kWh battery pack was launched in February 2024. Most affordable offerings in its lineup of e-scooters are the Ola S1X and Ola S1 Air. Therefore, let’s take a look at a brief comparison of both the models in terms of battery, range, features and other specifications.

Ola S1 Air

Price - Ola S1 Air is available in India at a discounted price of Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom) for a limited time.

Features - In terms of features, the Ola S1 Air is a 7-inch touchscreen TFT instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity with GPS-based navigation, reverse mode, hill hold assist, call alerts, music controls, 34-litre underseat storage space, in vacation mode conserves power while the scooter is parked for an extended period and ride “moods” like Bolt, Vintage, and Eclipse. 

Battery and Range - The S1 Air is equipped with a 3 kWh battery pack that takes 5 hours to charge fully and boasts a top speed of 90 km/h and a range of 151 km.

Ola S1X

Price - Ola S1X is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 79,999 and Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Features - The Ola S1 X comes in four variants, each offering three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports. The S1 X variants equipped with 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh batteries feature a 3.5-inch LCD instrument console, while the S1 X+ variant boasts a larger 5-inch LCD instrument console. Other notable features of the S1 X+ variant include OTA updates, remote boot unlock, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation and cruise control.

Battery and Range -  Ola S1 X 2kWh is equipped with a 2kWh battery, while the S1 X 3kWh and S1 X+ come with a 3kWh battery. The S1 X 4kWh variant is fitted with a 4kWh battery pack. The S1 X 2kWh variant claims an ARAI-certified range of 91 km while the S1 X 3kWh, S1 X 4kWh, and S1 X+ claim an ARAI-certified range of 151 km.
