Porsche 911 GTS Hybrid - Powertrain
Talking about Porsche’s new T-Hybrid powertrain, it includes a turbocharged six-cylinder boxer engine, a gearbox-mounted electric motor, and a compact liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery. This setup increases the 911 GTS’s output by 60 bhp and 40 Nm of torque compared to the previous model, which was equipped with a twin-turbo 3.0-litre engine. The new flat-six engine produces a power output of 479 bhp and 571 Nm of torque. The electric motor provides an additional boost of 54 bhp and 151 Nm of torque. This results in a combined power output of 534 bhp at 6500 RPM .
Porsche 911 GTS Hybrid - Performance & Aerodynamics
In terms of performance, it has been improved significantly as the new 911 GTS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 3.0 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than the older model. The top speed has also increased slightly to 312 km/hr.
The Porsche 911 GTS’s aerodynamics have been improved with new active front air ducts, redesigned bumpers with radar and ultrasonic sensors, OLED tail lights, a revised spoiler, and a reworked diffuser. An optional aero kit further enhances downforce, reducing lift and improving high-speed stability. Aerodynamically optimised wheels help achieve a lower drag coefficient of 0.27, setting a new standard for the 911.
