Skoda Octavia RS Launch In India:  Skoda is gearing up to launch its popular Octavia RS performance sedan in India. The brand has now announced that the pre-bookings for the Octavia RS will begin from October 6, 2025, in the country. The Skoda Octavia RS will be available in limited volumes as a Fully-Built Unit (FBU). Let’s take a look at the design, features, and engine of the upcoming Skoda Octavia RS.

Skoda Octavia RS: Design

The Skoda Octavia RS gets a very bold and aggressive look on the front. It gets sharp bumpers, headlamps, and sleek DRLs. It will also feature a blacked-out honeycomb grille at the front, along with the RS badging. The Octavia RS will also get aero alloy wheels, a lip-spoiler on the boot, and twin exhausts. The rear end of the Sedan will also feature sleek and sharp lights.

Skoda Octavia RS: Features

The sharp and aggressive treatment will also continue inside the cabin, and the performance sedan will feature special sports seats with contrast stitching. The seats will also feature the RS badging, and the Octavia RS will come with aluminium pedals, a 13-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The engine start/stop button function will also be integrated with the infotainment system, and it will also get an HVAC panel, along with a three-spoke steering wheel.

Skoda Octavia RS: Engine & Speed

The brand has not yet clarified details regarding the powertrain of the upcoming Skoda Octavia RS in India. However, the global version of the Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol E888 engine. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, and it can generate 261bhp and 370 Nm of torque. The Skoda Octavia RS can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, and it has a top speed of 250 km/h.
