Tata Motors, a leading automobile manufacturer in India is gearing up to launch a new SUV model in the country called Curvv. The upcoming Tata Curvv coupe SUV will be available in both traditional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicle (EV) variants. The company has already revealed the concept form of Curvv, indicating its futuristic design and features.
Currently, Tata Motors has significantly captured the electric vehicle market of the country with its extensive EV lineup in India. Tata Motors currently retails four EV models in the country which include - Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Nexon EV and Punch EV. Now, with Curvv EV and other upcoming products, Tata Motors aims to expand its market share further.
Tata Curvv EV - Design
The Tata Curvv EV has been showcased in its concept form and has also been spotted testing several times ahead of official launch. As a coupe SUV, Curvv EV is expected to feature a sleek and sporty design with a sloping roofline, modern LED headlamps, LED tail lights, a rear LED strip connecting the taillights and stylish alloy wheels. The front profile will likely include a charging port for convenience.
Tata Curvv EV - Features
In terms of features, the Curvv EV is anticipated to be equipped with features similar to the Tata Nexon EV. These features include a touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control and ample cabin space for comfort. Safety features may include multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, reverse parking sensors, and ISOFIX child-seat anchor points. There's also speculation about the inclusion of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for added safety.

Tata Curvv EV - Powertrain
In terms of powertrain, the Tata Curvv EV is expected to have a larger battery pack and more powerful motors compared to the Nexon EV, offering a range of around 500 kilometres on a single charge. Features like fast charging, vehicle-to-vehicle charging and vehicle-to-load charging are also likely to be incorporated in the upcoming Curvv EV.
Tata Curvv EV - Expected Price in India
Post its launch, the Tata Curvv EV is expected to be priced between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
