Tata Curvv Features: Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the new Tata Curvv SUV in India in the coming months. This highly anticipated midsize coupe SUV will initially be available as an electric vehicle (EV) by this festive season, with petrol and diesel variants expected to be launched later this year or early next year.

In the competitive midsize SUV market, that is captured by the Hyundai Creta, the Tata Curvv will need to stand out. Tata aims to equip the Curvv with high-end features borrowed from its flagship SUVs, the Harrier and Safari, to make it a strong contender. Ahead of the launch, the Tata Curvv SUV has been spotted several times, revealing essential details. 

Tata Curvv - Features 

Recent spy shots reveal several details about the Curvv's design and features. The dashboard resembles that of the Nexon compact SUV, while the steering wheel, equipped with cruise control and infotainment access switches, comes from the Harrier. It will also feature a larger 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, similar to the Nexon EV. Additionally, it is expected to be equipped with features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, dual-zone climate control, a six-way power driver’s seat with memory functions, height-adjustable front seat belts and ambient lighting.The Curvv's spy shots also show an electronic parking brake, drive modes, 18-inch alloy wheels and flush-fitting door handles. The top-spec Curvv models are expected to include Level 2 ADAS technology, seen in the Harrier and Safari.

Tata Curvv - Powertrain 

Under the hood, the Curvv EV will use Tata’s acti.ev architecture, promising up to 500 km on a single charge. The diesel variant will use a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine from the Nexon. The petrol version will introduce Tata's new 1.2-litre three-cylinder TGDi engine, producing a power output of 125 bhp and 225 Nm, with both manual and automatic transmission options.
