Tata EVs Launch Timeline: Tata Motors, a leading automobile manufacturer in India, currently dominates the mass market electric vehicle segment in the country. It currently includes four electric vehicle (EV) models in their EV lineup for the country. Moreover, Tata Motors is gearing up to introduce a series of electric vehicles to the Indian market. The company has announced plans to launch the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in FY25, followed by the Sierra EV and Avinya models in FY26.

Tata Motors has confirmed that these upcoming EVs will feature high energy density batteries capable of fast charging. They will also be equipped with high-performance electric motors and offer all-wheel drive drivetrains. In terms of interior, the electric vehicles will boast new displays with EV-specific user interfaces, support for over-the-air (OTA) updates, connected car technology and an in-car app suite. Other features include vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle charging capabilities, a front trunk (frunk) and various driving modes.
Tata Avinya EV
The Tata Avinya EV concept promises a range of over 500 km. It may feature dual electric motors, each powering one axle to provide all-wheel drive. However, the production model might also offer a quad-motor setup.
Tata Curvv EV
The Curvv EV is expected to have a top-spec model with a claimed range of 500 km. Tata Motors might also offer a lower-spec version with a reduced range.

Tata Sierra EV
Tata Motors is reviving the iconic Sierra nameplate for an upcoming SUV. The design patent for the Sierra EV has already been filed. Given that the original Sierra had a 4x4 system, it is anticipated that the new Sierra EV will include an electric all-wheel drive system.
