Tata Motors recently unveiled facelifts of its two popular SUVs, Harrier and Safari. Both the Tata SUVs are slated to be launched in the coming weeks of October and are currently open for bookings at a token amount of Rs 25,000. Both these SUVs showcase significant changes in their exterior and interior design and new technological features.

Tata Harrier - Variants 

Tata Harrier was first launched in India in 2019 and is a seven-seater SUV. The new Harrier is available in 11 trims that resemble the trims used for the new facelifted Nexon. The 11 trim levels of the Tata Harrier include - Smart (O), Pure (O), Adventure, Adventure +, Adventure Dark, Adventure + A, Fearless, Fearless Dark, Fearless + and Fearless + Dark. Tata Harrier also gets new scheme options of Sunlit Yellow, Pebble Grey, Seaweed Green, Coral Red, Lunar White, Oberon Black and Ash Grey. 

Tata Safari - Variants 

On the other hand, Safari is one of Tata’s oldest SUVs sold in the country and is available with both six and seven seat layout across 10 different variants of the Tata Safari. The ten broad variants of the Safari include Smart (O), Pure (O), Adventure, Adventure +, Adventure + Dark, Accomplished, Accomplished Dark, Accomplished + Dark, Adventure + A, and Accomplished +. Tata Safari is available in seven colour options that include the Cosmic Gold, Galactic Sapphire, Supernova Copper, Stardust Ash, Stellar Frost, Oberon Black and Lunar Slate. 

Tata Harrier and Tata Safari - Engine 

In terms of engine specs, both the Tata SUVs are powered by the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Kryotec diesel engine (BS6) that is tuned to produce a power output of 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels of the car.

Tata Harrier and Tata Safari - Features 

Key features of both the SUVs include 10.25-inch Harman Infotainment Touchscreen, 10.25-inch Digital Instrument Cluster, Wireless Android Auto & Apple Carplay, Multiple Speakers Audio System,  Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels, Driving Modes, Panoramic Sunroof, Wireless Charger, 11 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) functionalities that include features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go and many more features. These features are spread across various trim levels of both the SUVs and are selectively available in specific trims as per the pricing. Additionally, prices of both the SUVs have not been disclosed and will be revealed at the scheduled launch of both the SUVs.
