Tata Motors recently teased the upcoming facelift of the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari and has now revealed both the Tata SUVs. Additionally, bookings for both the SUVs have opened from today at a token amount of Rs 25,000 and are slated to be launched later this month. Both the Tata SUVs are going to be available in four trim levels - Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless.
Tata Harrier and Tata Safari - Interior
The interior features of the upcoming Tata SUVs will include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an enlarged central touchscreen infotainment system, a backlit Tata logo on the steering wheel and an ambient lighting strip highlighting the dashboard. The interior of both the SUVs bear a strong resemblance to the interior of the new Nexon. It's likely that the top-spec variants of the facelifted Harrier and Safari will include the larger 12.3-inch screen from the Nexon EV, while the base model variants might get the 10.25-inch unit. Also, the steering wheel in the Harrier and Safari will have four spokes, in comparison to the Nexon's two-spoke design.

New changes inside the SUVs include a coloured gloss panel replacing the faux wood trim from the previous models, the introduction of leatherette padding with contrast double stitching, revamped central AC vents and new touch-based HVAC controls with toggle switches have also been borrowed from the new Nexon. The centre console has also been revamped as a new gear lever and a rotary drive selector with more storage spaces has been introduced.
Tata Harrier and Tata Safari - Design
The exterior of both the SUVs gets several design changes such as a stylish LED light bar at the front, sleeker LED headlamps, a new grille design, new set of alloy wheels and a silver-finished scuff plate.

Tata Harrier and Tata Safari - Engine Specifications
Talking about the engine specifications of the SUVs, Tata will continue to use the 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces a power output of 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is paired to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
In terms of safety, both the SUVs will get 6 airbags as standard across all variants, while the top-spec variants are available with 7 airbags.
