Tata Motors has officially teased the upcoming facelift of the Tata Harrier, announcing that booking for the popular Tata SUV will commence from October 6. Along with the Harrier facelift, Tata will also be launching the redesigned Safari facelift and both these SUVs are slated to be launched later this month. The expected prices for the Tata Harrier facelift are between Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Harrier Facelift - Design 

As seen in the teaser video, the upcoming Harrier facelift will feature several design changes like a stylish LED light bar at the front and sleek cascading LED headlamps. The revamped Tata Harrier is also expected to get a new grille design, a set of updated alloy wheels and a silver-finished scuff plate. From the side, the Tata Harrier facelift will resemble the current-generation model with the only major change being a new set of alloy wheels. However, it is worth noting that the back of the Tata Harrier facelift might differ from the current-gen model as the faux exhaust tips might not be present.

Tata Harrier Facelift - Interior 

On the inside, Tata Harrier facelift is anticipated to boast a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. As seen on the Tata Curvv concept, the Tata Harrier facelift is likely to feature redesigned central AC vents, a touch panel for HVAC controls, a rotary selector for drive modes and a new gear lever. Additionally, there are expectations that the SUV may come equipped with a two-spoke steering wheel and an illuminated logo among other features.

Tata Harrier Facelift - Engine 

Tata will continue to retain its  2.0-litre diesel engine that generates 170 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is paired to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It is also being rumoured that the facelifts of both the Tata SUVs, Harrier and Safari might finally get a petrol engine. Tata is also gearing up to launch all-electric versions of both the SUVs in the future.
