Updated Tata Punch EV Claims 90 Km In 15 Minutes With Faster Charger, Also Adds New Colours

Tata Punch EV Updates: Tata Motors launched its Punch EV with a 3.3kW AC charger and an optional 7.2kW AC charger in January 2024. For 2025, Tata has introduced significant updates to the electric vehicle, involving two fresh colour options and a faster DC charger. 

Tata Punch EV: Gets New Colours, Faster Charger

With the charging update, the Tata Punch EV is claimed to charge at 1.2C and take just 40 minutes to go from 10 to 80 per cent, the same as the Tata Nexon EV with a 45kWh battery. This also means that the Punch EV can return a claimed range of 90km in 15 minutes. For context, the Long Range variants of the Punch EV come with a 35kWh battery and yield 365km (ARAI) range on a single charge.

Another update is in the form of two fresh colour options: Supernova Copper and Pure Grey. Other colour options include Seawood Green, Daytona Grey, Fearless Red, Pristine White, and Empowered Oxide.

Tata Punch EV: Features

Feature highlights include dual 10.25-inch screens, an electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a jewelled rotary drive selector (available only with LR variants), a 366-litre boot, cruise control, blind spot monitor, and six airbags.

Tata Punch EV: Price

The Punch EV is currently priced from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 14.44 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in five variants, namely Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+.
