Tata Sierra EV To Launch In 2026: Expected To Get All-Wheel Drive And 500 Kilometres Of Range

Tata Sierra EV Range:  The 2025 Tata Sierra ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) was launched recently at Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The brand is now gearing up to launch the electric iteration of the Tata Sierra. As per media reports, the Tata Sierra EV is expected to be launched in the country in 2026. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and powertrain of the upcoming Tata Sierra EV.

Tata Sierra EV: Design

The brand has already shared a teaser of the upcoming Tata Sierra EV. As per the teaser, the Sierra EV will share its overall contour and design with the ICE model. However, several design elements will provide it with a distinct look. The Tata Sierra EV is expected to feature a closed grille at the front, and the air intake has been placed lower on the front bumper. The ADAS panel is integrated in the centre of the air intake. On the sides, it gets aordynamic wheels, and other elements such as flush door handles, and body cladding remain similar to the ICE Tata Sierra.

Tata Sierra EV: Features

The Tata Sierra EV is expected to come equipped with the same features as the ICE variant of the SUV. The 2025 Sierra comes equipped with features such as a triple-screen setup, Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, JBL Black sound system with Dolby Atmos, ventilated seats, a dual-climate control system, and more. We expect the upcoming Tata Sierra EV to come equipped with the same list of features.

Tata Sierra EV: Range & Powertrain

While the Tata Sierra ICE is a front-wheel-drive vehicle, the Tata Sierra EV is expected to be offered with rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The Tata Sierra EV is expected to come equipped with options of a 55 kWh and 65 kWh battery pack, and the maximum claimed range is expected to stand at 500 kilometres, once fully charged. We expect the Tata Sierra EV to be priced between Rs 18.50 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 25.50 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.
