Honda CB300R: Honda, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, is expected to silently discontinue its CB300R bike in India. The bike was first introduced in India in 2019, and it didn’t receive a great response in terms of sales. As per SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) data, the brand sold only 1 unit of the CBR300R during the past three months.
As per several media reports and dealership sources, the bike was discontinued some months ago, but it is still available on the brand’s official website. The CB300R is currently priced at Rs 2.40 lakhs (Ex-showroom) on the brand’s official website, and it rivals the KTM 390 Duke and TVS Apache RTR 310 in the country.

While the brand has not officially announced the discontinuation, it is expected to pull the plug on the CB300R due to its low sales volume. The CB300R’s availability can also be deduced as a big factor for its low sales. It is only available across selected Indian cities, and that too, on selected dealerships only.
The CB300R is a neo-retro styled bike, and it gets LED lights, dual-channel ABS, and an LCD screen-based infotainment system. The bike draws its power from a 286cc liquid-cooled engine, which can generate up to 30 hp and 27.5 Nm of torque, and it is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. While the bike offers decent features and great handling, its rivals offer more advanced features. This can also be considered a big factor behind the bike getting discontinued.
