Top 10 Best Selling Cars In May 2024: The Indian automotive industry has been witnessing rapid growth, positioning the country as the third-largest automobile market globally. Each year, record-breaking sales are seen across various segments, including passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, and electric vehicles. To emphasise on this increasing demand, here are the top-selling cars for May 2024.

In the passenger vehicle segment, the Maruti Suzuki Swift emerged as the best-selling car in India for May 2024. The Tata Punch secured the top spot among SUVs. Within the top 10 best-selling vehicles, Maruti Suzuki dominated with seven models. Tata Motors, Hyundai Motor India, and Mahindra & Mahindra each had one model in the list. SUVs continued to perform strongly, with five models among the top 10. Additionally, the list included three hatchbacks, one compact sedan, and one MPV.

In May 2024,Maruti Suzuki Swift led the sales chart with 19,393 units, followed by the Tata Punch with 18,949 units and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire with 16,061 units. Hyundai Creta was the second highest selling SUV on the list with 14,662 units sold. The Maruti Suzuki WagonR also performed well with sales of 14,492 units. Maruti Suzuki Brezza managed to sell 14,186 units in May 2024, followed by Maruti Suzuki Ertiga with 13,893 units sold. Mahindra Scorpio maintained its position on the list with sales of 13,717 units, followed by Maruti Suzuki Baleno with 12,842 units sold. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx continued its strong performance with sales of 12,681 units.
