Toyota has unveiled the GR Sport variant of the Toyota Hilux pick-up truck in Europe. The Toyota Hilux is among the most popular pick-up trucks in India. However, there is no information yet on whether the Toyota Hilux GR Sport will be launched in India.
Toyota Hilux GR Sport - Looks
The design modifications in the new Hilux GR Sport include a new grille, a revamped bumper with new fog lamp housing, new skid plate, GR Sport badging on the front grille and the tailgate and 17-inch black finished alloy wheels.

Toyota Hilux GR Sport - Interior
Inside the Toyota Hilux GR Sport, the interior is finished in all-black with red highlights. The Toyota pick-up truck features a new touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also gets GR Sport badging on the doors, dashboard, instrument cluster and multi-information display. Paddle shifters, aluminium pedals and red coloured seat belts are also being offered with the Hilux GR Sport.
Toyota Hilux GR Sport - Performance
Talking about the performance of the Hilux GR Sport, it now gets a ground clearance of 140 mm at the front and 155 mm at the rear which is 20 mm more than the standard model, the approach angle has gone up to 30 degrees with a revised suspension system for better enhanced comfort while driving the Hilux GR Sport. The drum brakes have been replaced with 15-inch disc brakes and the rear brakes are now 17 inches in size.

Toyota Hilux GR Sport - Engine
The Toyota Hilux GR Sport will continue to use the same engine as the standard model which is a 2.8-litre diesel engine that generates a power output of 201 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
