Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 2025:  The Toyota Land Cruiser 2025 was recently unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The Land Cruiser FJ will succeed the iconic Land Cruiser FJ40, and it is based on the same platform as its bigger sibling, the Land Cruiser 250. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and powertrain of the new Land Cruiser FJ.

Land Cruiser FJ 2025: Design

The Land Cruiser FJ 2025 features a boxy design, which seems to be inspired by the Land Cruiser Prado. At the front, it gets two headlamp options: a traditional round-shaped headlight, along with a modern rectangular headlight with C-shaped DRLs. Both of these headlamps are integrated into a black grille with Toyota badging. The Land Cruiser FJ 2025 gets squared-off wheel arches, thick cladding, and 17-inch alloy wheels on the side. On the rear, it gets C-shaped taillights and a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.

Land Cruiser FJ 2025: Features

The Land Cruiser FJ 2025 features a very practical cabin. It gets a 12.5-inch touchscreen in the centre and a fully-digital instrument cluster. The central AC vents below the infotainment system are finished in a rectangular shape, whereas the vents on the sides of the dashboard are round in shape and get a star-shaped finish. A 4x4 dial is placed alongside the gear knob, and it also gets a 3-spoke steering wheel, along with a dual-zone climate control system.

Land Cruiser FJ 2025: Powertrain

The Land Cruiser FJ 2025 has been equipped with a 2.7-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The same engine powers the Toyota Fortuner in the country. The engine is mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, and it can generate a peak power and torque output of 161bhp and 246 Nm, respectively. The Land Cruiser FJ is also available with the option of a 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which offers the 4x4 option as well.

Land Cruiser FJ 2025: Will It Come To India?

The brand has confirmed that the Land Cruiser FJ 2025 will go on sale in Japan from mid-2026. However, the brand has not yet confirmed whether the Land Cruiser FJ will come to India or not. The brand is expected to launch more than 15 models, including the updated ones, in the country in the coming years, and we expect the Land Cruiser FJ 2025 to be launched in India by late 2026.
