Upcoming Cars In September 2023: The last few days have been an exciting time for car enthusiasts as a lot of automotive brands have either launched or introduced their upcoming vehicles. Honda has recently launched their first SUV in India, Honda Elevate. Similarly, Volvo launched the much-awaited Volvo C40 Recharge and Toyota launched its Ertiga-based MPV, Toyota Rumion. With so much happening in the Indian automotive market, the cars mentioned below will only add to that zeal and fervour as they are scheduled to be launched in the month of September.

Mercedes EQE

Mercedes is set to introduce its third electric vehicle in India, the EQE electric SUV. This is an addition to the EV lineup of the brand which already includes the EQB SUV and EQS sedan. The EQE offers two power options; a single-motor variant with 292 bhp and 565 Nm of torque, while the dual-motor EQE 500 4Matic offers 408 bhp and 858 Nm of torque. With a powerful 90.6 kWh battery, the EQE boasts an impressive 500 km range on a single charge. The EQE is slated for release on September 15.

Citroen C3 Aircross

The C3 Aircross, a new compact SUV from French automaker Citroen, is anticipated to debut in India in September in both a five and seven-seat configuration. Sharing the C3's platform, the C3 Aircross packs a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine with 108 bhp and 190 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, with the possibility of the addition of an automatic gearbox later. The Citroen C3 Aircross is expected to be introduced in the ex-showroom price range of Rs 9 to 13 lakh.

Tata Nexon and Tata Nexon EV

Tata is gearing up for the launch of the facelifted version of the Nexon ICE Model and Nexon EV on September 14, after recently revealing details of the facelifted models. The facelift version will come in 11 variants, boasting a range of exciting features such as a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats with height adjustment, wireless charging, automatic climate control, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, voice-operated electric sunroof, cruise control, front parking sensors and a blind-view monitor.

Though, both the Nexon and Nexon EV will retain their existing engine and motor configurations, with the Nexon offering 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines that produce 118 bhp and 113 bhp of power respectively and the Nexon EV featuring two battery options, providing a range spanning from 312 km to 453 km.
